Where does your licence fee go?

Many music creators from here and around the world earn an income by granting organisations, like ours, the right to collect and pay their royalties when a business plays the music they make.

OneMusic licence fees are distributed by APRA AMCOS and Recorded Music NZ, who manage music royalty payments of all music use. They created the joint licensing initiative, OneMusic. One-licence for businesses to cover the public performance permission required under New Zealand Copyright law.

When you hear about music royalties, that's what we do. We are a data powerhouse and have a legal commitment to music creators with detailed royalty distribution policies.
