Our friends at APRA and NZ On Air have released this awesome video.

This episode of “Chit Chats at Whammy” takes us through the world of copyright. "Demystifying APRA", Aotearoa’s performing rights organisation. Venues which play music pay a licence fee to OneMusic, which is a joint initiative between APRA AMCOS and Recorded Music NZ. When APRA members submit a performance report, APRA can distribute the royalties from those licence fees to the correct songwriters.
