1 October 2023 Consumer Price Index (CPI) Notice

On 1 October each year the OneMusic GST exclusive rates are increased by the percentage increase in the CPI between the last two June Quarter’s under the Licence Agreement terms.

The increase in the CPI between the last two June Quarters was 6.0%.

OneMusic are aware of the challenges businesses face and to support them, as well as our music creators, we’ve made a one-off decision to discount part of the increase that would otherwise apply for the year commencing 1 October 2023 licenses below.

The GST exclusive rate for the following licenses will effectively increase only by 4.0%.
(with OneMusic discounting the remaining 2.0%).

Retail & General Licence, includes Hair & Beauty and Pharmacy
Exercise Licence
Dance Licence
Workplace & Music On Hold Licence
Bus & Coach Licence
Places of Worship Licence
Sporting Code Licence
Hotel & Accommodation Licence
Domestic Video Annual Licence & Single Licence
Function Room Licence
Music Dubbing Licence
Funeral Services Licence
Live, DJs, Karaoke Music Licence

This discount on the increase under the Licence Agreement terms is being implemented only in respect of the licence year commencing 1 October 2023.
